Oh, the setting dream, the sky glows red

Face the evening of the scarped horizon

The innards are airy, and the corona is a lee

We’re ripe for trance, our sun is peeling

Ozone churns light; dusk globes to twilight

Radiance meshes minds; the world its clime

To marry all lovers after they drift asunder

Where is the lore of a mermaid drying out?

It’s love persevering, colouring in skies

The alluring demise, the daylight basks
